In a well-attended match, both players were playing a high standard, and mistakes were punished quickly, but it was experience that came through with Low Moor’s Waddington previaling to win the small table title.
The 2010 grand champion now faces Jonny Clark in the Grand Final after he beat Paul Selby of Rosegrove Unity in the large table final.

Selby came back strongly to level the match after the break, but all-England player Clark, from Oswaldtwistle Conservative Club, took hold of the match, winning frames five and six to book a date with Waddington on Sunday, June 26th at Ighten Leigh, at 2 p.m. best of seven frames, for the grand final and presentation.
The winner of that match will be crowned Foster’s Golden Cue champion for 2016 and receive a shield.
The winner and runner-up in each competition will receive a memento of the competition.
