Promoted Hull and Palace eye former Burnley star Chris McCann
The 25-year-old’s deal with Burnley is up this summer, as he seeks a fresh challenge.
Championship rivals Nottingham Forest have emerged as a potential destination for the Dubliner, and while I understand a switch to the City Ground is possible, he has plenty of options to weigh up before making up his mind.

Hide AdMcCann has attracted a lot of interest from the Championship, but I believe both Hull City and Crystal Palace - after their promotion to the Premier League - are considering a move for the free agent as they bolster their squads ahead of a big challenge.
McCann was cruelly denied a bigger opportunity in the Premier League with Burnley, playing only seven times in 2009/10 after suffering a bad knee injury against Sunderland in September 2009.
Burnley themselves haven’t closed the door on McCann, with manager Sean Dyche saying: “Chris McCann’s situation is that he actually didn’t really want to engage in a contract situation with us, not because he dislikes us or the club but because he feels that it might be time for him to move on.
“That situation might change but that’s how he’s felt about it.”
