Police close country road on outskirts of Burnley following crash
Police have had to close one of the country roads leading into Burnley following an accident this morning.
Road traffic officers along with the fire service are currently clearing a section of teh A671 Burnley Road, at the junction of Step Row, near to Weir after a collision involving a black Volkswagen.
Officers have asked motorists to factor the accident into their morning commutes.
