Lack of Christmas spirit over community centre closure
Surely the council could at least have shown some Christmas spirit and allowed another few weeks.
I feel very strongly about this after spending over 60 years serving the youth of the town and remember when Burnley had a youth service second to none under Norman Powell.

Hide AdWe didn’t have time to be bored with clubs such as Central, Co-op, Sandygate as well as thriving Scout groups and brigades providing activities and competitions.
And it isn’t only the youth that the council has hit in recent years. Closing public toilets doesn’t help the seniors.
