Fire crews race to scene after vehicle set alight in Burnley road this afternoon

Fire crews raced to Burnley's Queen Victoria Road this afternoon after a vehicle  was alight at the roadside.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire after being called out at 2pm.

No injuries were reported and crews were in attendance for around 30 minutes.
