Woman 'assisting police with their enquiries' over Padiham dog dirt incident
A woman has contacted police regarding an incident in Padiham in which dog dirt was smeared across a house window.
The Burnley Express reported earlier today that police were searching for a woman who was seen to place latex gloves on before picking up the faeces and smearing it on the wall of the house in Park View on Monday.
A police spokesman has now said: "In relation to our appeal for the incident on Park View in Padiham, a female has made contact with officers and will be assisting with our enquiries.
"Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal."
